Unlovely
For my research purposes I chose an exhibition The Woven Child by Louis Bouiruirse as part of my primary research.
I had to visit the exhibition twice. When the exhibition had started I had no idea what it was about and have not heard much about it, but my friend wanted to go there, as we went we were not able to attend the whole exhibition, but I felt naturally driven to it and did my research on it. I knew some things I wanted to include in my research on the spot. The theme for my research that had to be inspired by the term “unlovely” is skin and what is under it. Hayward gallery presented Louis Bourgeois work, where she incorporated a lot of clothing elements and fabrics, as well as woven techniques. I did my online research and created some art inspired by her before going. I loved the museum experience as it was lovely to see fascinating work in such amounts. I have gathered tons of beautiful pictures. When I came home I stared working on editing them.
